DFC 1. #15 Bill Walker ~ Adams Racing, Collins Fab, Walker Racing Yamaha
The Vintage main event was a barn burner from the green light. Walker, twisted the Yamaha 500 engine up and dumpped the clutch off the starting line, launching his bike into the first turn. On the outside came Cacy Carpenter and a tremendous battle ensued between those two lead riders for the entire 10 lap main. Carpenter tried every approach to dethrone Walker's lead, but could not get his Honda in front of Walker's Yamaha at the finish line.
