But one thing I must ask of you. How many of your neighbors do you have racing in these series? Is anyone on your block , or even your whole housing addition or trailer park if need be, racing in any of these NASCAR, Formula 1 or Indy cars???? Lets compare apples to apples and BS to BS shall we? It is and always will be a personal choice, dirt or asphalt, I love racing, but I will always have a special fondness for dirt track, I like NASCAR, not a big fan of Formula I , dont know anyone and cant pronounce the names for the most part. Indy Cars, are not my cup of tea, lots of speed but like most asphalt racing has become way too technically oriented for my tastes. Takes too much of the human element out of it. But that is my thoughts. I will always find the local dirt track a special place, for when I look at a race car, be it a mini or a sprint car, I see a thing of beauty, a work of art, no matter how simple it may be. It just strikes a chord in me. I have follows Chopperdaddy and his posts in here and I find it refreshing to see his excitement and the simple joy of doing this racing thing. Hnag in there Chopperdaddy, dont let the BS drag you down. Have fun, enjoy, just remember it is just a hobby. Dont take it too seriously that you lose that perspective.
