Hi I own a 1977 Pontiac Trans Am that now has a 301 1979 Lemans engine in it. The problem is I can't get my hood shaker to fit now. The breather is too small for the hood scoop. Can you tell me if a air breather from 301 Trans Am engine will work with the 301 1979 Lemans engine as I know 1979 hood shaker is same as my 1977 shaker. Can you help me or anyone out there in Pontiac land????????????? Tnxs Gwen
