Posted by nadine I have a friend who assists a 14yr old girl at a boarding school in the last lesson and during the evening. My friend is suppose to ensure she does her homework, gets to dinner, gets ready for bed, etc. She has been not been given any guidance on helping or even understanding how the autism affects the 14yr old. I cannot find details on understanding autistic teenagers or ways to help rather than agrevate. If anyone has information regarding helping rather than hindering an autistic teenager, please let me know. My friend would appreciate it a great deal and so too the teenager. Regards,
