I purchased the Word Flips from Super Duper over the summer, and I have used it with two preschoolers who have severe speech delays. One is diagnosed with apraxia, and I think the other may also be apraxic, although his IEP only lists speech delay. I've only worked with these little guys for a short time, and their progress is amazing. The Word Flips are arranged by place of articulation, and the pictures are fun. Each of these boys loves being able to "read" the pictures. Since I started, I have seen a big leap in their willingness to use speech. Both boys' mothers have said they are just amazed at home by how much their boys have started talking. I am very excited. Has anyone else had success with these?
