I also use the PLS-3 and PLS-4 (Preschool Language Scale) and really like them. They are easy to use and to score. However, I have found if you have a child who requires services but is a little higher functioning, he might not qualify for the school district with the PLS. Instead, I use the CELF-Preschool.
