I have a student who has an n/l sustitution. He has the tongue placement down but can't seem to direct the airflow through his mouth rather than his nose. I have tried shaping the/l/ from a /w/ and then have him lift his tongue with limited success. I think it may be a problem with soft palate mobility. Anyone with any ideas???!!!
