I find that asking a student to say /tyou, tyou, tyou /several times fast can facilitate a correct /ch/, and then /dyou, dyou, dyou/ for the /j/ sound. I will try the /n/ and then allow air to escape over the tongue, as I can use a technique for /sh/. My student can now do /ch,j/ with the above techniques.
