Oops! I forgot to add one other approach that I normally begin with for a lateral ch. That is to shape it from a final /t/ word into a word with an intial 'y'. For example: want you, get your, etc. Prolonging the /t/ to the 'y' achieves the lateral closure and produces the correct /ch/ sound. Once again, any other suggestions?
