Hi! I'm working with a middle schooler struggling with the /sh/ sound (we're still on the initial position). We've done quite a bit with oral-motor therapy this year and she's progressed well...she has the /ch/ down pat, but initially it was difficult to get her to produce the /ch/ sound (we finally did it by repeating "meet ship," which turned into "me ship," and then she made up her own, which she found motivating). Anything similar -- or anything at all -- to produce the /sh/ sound? Does anyone know of a site online that provides lists of pair words like this? ...We're going on to /j/ next. Thanks! :-)
