We live in North Africa and there is a dearth of English speaking speech therapists here to work with our 5 year old developmentally delayed son. (He was initially diagnosed as a/dyspraxic but is now just 'developmentally delayed'. He talks like a 3 1/2 or young 4 year old, and is ADD; eg has trouble focusing. I've begun to search on the internet for therapy via skype (webcam + lessons) and found one therapist in UK (speechsort.co.uk) and an online speech therapy program (speechtails.com), which may be hindered by slow internet connections (lots of stopping / starting as file content is downloaded).
Do you know others who have had tried to give therapy by skype+webcam? Can you recommend additional resources?
