In Arizona, you can work in a school system with only a bachelor's degree, and its up to the school district on how to utilize you. I have a bachelor's degree and am the only speech therapist in the district! I do everything, screenings, testing, IEP's, therapy... Assistants have an associate's degree out here, and they can't do IEP's or testing.
