My pre-k - 2nd/3rd graders love Cariboo Island Treasure hunt game. It involves identifying letters, numbers, and colors as they open doors with a key to reveal hidden treasure coins. The last person to "bury" a coin under the sand triggers the treasure chest to open. My students love to pretend they are getting into boats and rowing to treasure island. We "feel" the sand between our toes a watch out for pirates!
The 3rd - 5th graders love "apples to apples for kids." Addresses categorization and synonyms.
