New to Early Childhood Intervention. Resources?

I am getting ready to head into the new world world of in-home pediatric therapy. I tend to be a fairly structured therapist and am not sure I know how to participate in play therapy.I am looking for any resources that will help me with activities, ideas, and tips for how to participate in child led play in home settings. Are the Hanen books good without the training? Please help!!!! Thanks in advance.
