I agree with kjslp. The PPVT has always yielded much more accurate scores than the ROWPVT. The EVT has always yielded much more accurate scores than the EOWPVT.
I have been using the PPVT-IV, and EVT2, and they are an improvement over the former versions (which I also liked).
Just as an aside, in our district we are encouraged to always purchase the most current test to ensure most current norms. (And so far, they are willing to pay for them, even in these tight budget times. We do end up getting one test to share between several buildings).
