I'm currently working in disability services where I am seeing a 5year old boy with a global developmental delay who is non verbal. Mom says he says some single words at home and currently I am working on a picture communication system with him for school and home to help him communicate. I am also working on receptive language skills; vocab builing, following 2 step commands and categorization. Whay can I do to develop his expressive language?
