My older students really enjoy a game called Apples to Apples which involves comparing/contrasting, vocabulary, critical thinking, and expression. It comes in a Junior and Adult version. It's also fun! They also enjoy games such as In A Pickle (Gamewright) which involves comparing/contrasting, expression, and vocabulary, 20 Questions (University Games) which involves auditory memory/processing, critical thinking, and problem solving, 30-Second Mysteries (University Games) involes problem solving, listening comprehension, figurative language, and inferencing. They are all adaptable and very motivating!
Hope this is helpful.
