I live in southern Ohio (edge of zone 5 and 6). My goal is to grow an edible banana. My plan is to buy a plant that is small (so I can easily bring indoors in winter), hardy (due to changes from indoor to outdoor environments), and quick to fruit. I currently have a dwarf and super dwarf cavendish that I recently purchased and would like to also try another variety. Any suggestions? Also, any suggestions for reliable nurseries would be appriciated. Thanks.
