I have several years of Banana logs in my backyard. I have tried to hurry decomposition with a slow release fertilizer, but nothing seems to happen. Is there any good way to rot these things? That is short of dicing the things? I would have thought that if the log could grow in one year it would atleast rot in two. Help!!! The stack is looming large!!!
