I don't really know what I'm dying to see. Most of the games out there have features I'm quite happy to play with.
But, most games only have some of my favorite features, and don't combine them all. I like crossbreeding into purebreds (or sometimes mutts). I like creating my own breeds. I like stat based non-random shows and genetic diseases and genetic colors and only partially inherited abilities from parents with a healthy dose of random stat generation or better yet recessive genes, and Foundations that aren't utterly worthless compared to the bred animals. I like how Hunt & Jump Inc horses don't rely on shows for breeding ability, that's so much more realistic. I adore Furry Paws' ability to freeze your dogs so you don't have to be on every day.
But what I guess I'm most dying to see is more control over the foundation animals. I don't really like random all that much. Espeically when first starting a new game, if I get a bad batch I just want to start over and in most games you can't do that. I don't mean I want the best ever in foundation animals, but I would like to pick whether the horse will excell at reining, jumping, whatever and maybe even the color would be cool. Stuff that I can specialize in and build from, if that makes sense. One thing about H&J I don't like much is you can't really tell without showing and breeding how good your horse is going to be; I'd rather have a hint before putting too much more than the purchase price into it.
And I can't really afford to pay for a game, espeically a game feature that runs out. If I had extra cash, of course I'd buy the upgrades that let my animals be better. I can't think of a game where I didn't try to earn and trade game points for upgrades that would improve my stock.
Well, good luck in your endeavors Curious!
Hope your game planning and programing goes well.
