I only played in USSSA two or three times that I can remember. ASA was always my favorite I wish they still had their tournys. There was just something special about winning an ASA tournament.

: Chance, the only time I remember playing the
: amish was in the 82 USSSA World
: Championships at Bowie, Maryland. I beat
: them I think in our third game by maybe 2
: runs and then beat them in the championship
: by only 1. We finished that season 42-7 and
: won every tournament we played in. I've
: beaten Chez before and they have beaten me.
: I only said that they have a great program
: and personally I believe they do! We were
: basically USSSA as that was the strong
: league then and there we so many teams then
: that ASA and USSSA would have their
: Nationals and World on the same weekend!

: Terrell,
: Thanks for finally agreeing with me on
: something. Ofcourse if you would have
: disagreed about the amish you would be
: crazy. I never had heard of the Slyvester
: Flyers (only Sylvester Stalone!) but thats a
: bold statement to put yourself in the same
: class as the amish. I know we never have
: been except for the one year we beat them in
: the ASA nationals, but other than that we
: don't belong on the same field as them and
: neither do the Chez Sids. If they're five
: amish in the tournament you better hope for
: sixth, thats what I've learned from them
: lol.

: Chance, you got a whole lot of growing up to
: do. Nobody is putting anybody on a
: pedestal. However, you need to stop hating
: and admit that the people play good
: softball. You keep talking about your
: taxpaying and how you are supporting them
: but I'm sure they can get by without your
: few nickles. Bottom line, in my opinion, I
: feel that their program as a whole is the
: best thing going in boys softball today.
: One thing that I can agree with you on
: though is the fact the amish players are
: awesome and they have a great program. But
: the record speaks for itself! the Sylvester
: Flyers was the the best thing going in the
: 80's and early 90's and Chez Sidney and the
: amish picked it up from there!

: Terrell, I'm not crying or whining. In my
: last
: comment I never said anything about my team
: or the game we got cheated in. I just get
: tired of everyone putting Chey Sidney on a
: pedestal like they are the greatest ever.
: They will never be able to compete with
: amish just like everyone else. The only
: title they win now are 10s or 12s and thats
: because they are no amish. And don't get me
: wrong this has nothing to do with me and my
: team cause the amish whoop us everytime we
: play them as well. But yes Mike I understand
: why you love them so much they are a
: directors dream, spending thousands of
: dollars on entry fee and everything else,
: (as a tax payer i'm helping i am able to
: help them). And mike the rebels originated
: in the early 70s.

: Chance, I should have known where this was
: headed. I can now see why you are crying so
: much. In Roman chapter 10 in Paul's writing
: to the Romans he speaks about them being
: ignorant of GOD'S righteousness, and going
: out to establish their own righteousness and
: have not submitted THEMSELVES unto the
: righteousness of GOD! I wonder if you fall
: in that category? Man stop crying and again
: accept the fact that you got beat! For you
: to makethe comments like you did about the
: Chez group and hurricane Katrina is totally
: IGNORANT!

: Terrell, try not to use the lords name in
: vain
: if you can. Also, I don't know why everyone
: thinks they have such a great history and
: dominate each year. They never started
: playing in the world series untill 2005 when
: Katrina came through and they took all that
: money from FEMA and us tax payers. And since
: then they still haven't won a 19 and under
: so them not winning shouldn't be that big of
: a surprise. They're simply a big money train
: for mike and the ssaa.

: Oh my GOD! This is the firsr time I can
: remember in over 20 years not seeing CHez
: Sidney winning a championship. Chez is one
: of the greatest programs in the counrty but
: that really says to me that all the other
: programs and teams are excelling and getting
: a whole lot better! Congratulations to
: every person that was involved in this
: tournament!

: Here are the final totals from Cookeville
: Thanks to the 39 boys and 6 girls teams
: that played with us this past weekend!
: It was exciting and close competition,
: every bracket had an "if" game! We
: are already planning for 2010, Ginny and I
: started yesterday by contacting and thanking
: our partners at the local motels. I welcome
: any comments where you use your name and
: remain civil. No name calling or remarks
: made to injure are allowed. I get an email
: every time a post is made on this board, I'm
: the adminstrator and can delete, alter, and
: prevent any message that does not fit into
: the good of the game. You are free to post
: comments as long as your actual name is
: used. Folks this was the most exciting and
: even competition ever, was it all perfect?
: Of course not, was it the very best it could
: be? No..am I satisfied? Never...will I work
: harder? Always! Your director is already at
: work addressing the needs that will take us
: farther along. You can help, I welcome
: comments and suggestions. Angry outbursts
: are to be expected in close competition
: where decisions that we disagree on are
: involved. Bear with us..we care and deep
: down I believe you all know that. If you
: enjoyed this year hang on....2010 will be
: bigger and better. Sincere Thanks from Mike
: and Miss Ginny
