We've just received word from Jim and Debi Rodgers at Nearly Native that they're offering a 10 percent discount to SPS members for the SPS summer meeting on Saturday, July 25. The nursery offers an interesting selection of native plants, some that Jim selected himself from unusual native populations, as well as native and non-native palms.
A couple years ago they installed a desert garden planted on 17 or 18 truckloads of red sand, which reminds me of a Southern version of Sedona. There are also some fascinating non-plant attractions at the nursery.
