This bed located in Butts County, Georgia needs to be expanded in this Zone 7b location. The site is exposed to west wind, and the temperature extremes are similar to the station at Peachtree City (a few degrees colder than Atlanta airport). Which of the palms that I have in pots will likely look best throughout the year ? Trachycarpus nanus Trachycarpus takil Trachycarpus wagnerianus Note: Trachycarpus fortunei and sabal minor continue to grow all year nearby. I apologize for the quality of the picture, but only had my cell phone with me. The raised bed has some aged compost in it even though the picture looks like fresh bark.
