I posted this over on the hardy and subtropical boards but didnt get much response. Maybe someone here can help me?
I'll be driving down to the Georgia coast, (Brunswick, the islands, etc) and would like to know where any good photo oppurtunities for unusual subtropicals might be found. Anyone know of any large or at least medium sized Norfol Island Pines, unusual palms...or perhaps Tom might give me directions to photograph that large Enterolobium? Im open to anything!
Also, does anyone know of any good nurseries in the area. The only one Ive been to is a small but cool nursery in Darien that has lots of unusual subtropicals. Ive also visited Ace nursery on St. Simons and will be sure to take a pic of a Phoenix palm with both sword fern and rabbits foot fern (Davallia) growing from its trunk.
Thanks for any suggestions.
