appreciate the advice...actually we're just across the river from you, and according to the Palm Society's climate maps it appears that virtually all of Georgia is at least "zone 8"...am assuming that the "length of growing season" has been incorporated into these zone ratings...please correct this assumption (if mistaken), and, again, thanks for the help
