You need to be sure you are buying from a nursery or Lowe's or Home Depot, etc. who has a guarantee on their plants. Morningstar, as I understand it is just a "middle man" for palm growers/stores. I would hesitate to buy anything plant-wise from big box store. I would question whether their workers knew enough about what they were selling to give advice on the products. The employees at Home Depot's Garden Shop will not hesitate to admit to you if they aren't knowledgeable about a certain plant. The stock at Home Depot that is from Morningstar looks very healthy and right now is on sale in our area. Places that carry large assortments of plants have employees who know how to keep an eye on their stock and remove any sick/bad plants and not sell them.
