I purchased $12,000 worth of cycads and palms from Morningstar just in 2008 alone and I didn't lose the first plant. I have been to their location many times, filling my truck each time, and didn't see plants that I would worry about. I'm not sure what your problem is, but it may have more to do with the retail place and how they treated their plants, or possibly even something you may have done, or both. I wouldn't give these people the blanket thumbs down. It sounds like whatever happened to you is not the case in general, from what I know myself and from what others have experienced as well.
