Ok....so I have what I refer to as my monster trachy. It is the fastest growing palm I have ever seen. Grows ALL year long including the winter. Sean from Chilly Palm can vouch for it being a grower. It was a 5 gallon palm in summer 04 and now is almost 9 ft tall!!!! I know there are a lot of doubters out there...but it is a fact!
Ok enough of the palm...Here is my problem. I will never have seeds on this thing because of the birds ( I guess). It is cleaned out again this year and not a future seed left! How can I stop the madness to see wheter this is a palm oddity or if something in its genetics makes it a great grower???
