I have a few Trachycarpus Fortunie and Jelly palms in my yard. Various sizes and ages. This winter damaged them a lot. I moved some in shelter and others in the ground covered.
So, my question is: When you can pull the top fronds out, does that mean the palm is toast, or may it recover, or will it live but never grow more?
I think I may have lost them all if the loose top fronds mean death. :(
