royal queen palm and a hammock

I have a friend in FLA looking to hange a hammock between her two Mature Queen Palms. Would srewing in a large eye hook into the trunk damage or even kill a palm tree and what would be the best way to hang a hammock from to palms. Thanks for your help. ken
