Hello, I am from Lexingotn, KY, I am down here now, but probably will be moving back up there in a year or two.
If it is a Chinese Fan Palm it isn't a good palm except for a die back perrenial. Are you talking about a Windmill Palm? Sometimes known as a Chinese Windmill Palm.
