You can remove the pups and grow as a solitary palm, however, in my oponion this is not the real beauty for this palm. They make large 12 feet tall and as wide clumps in about 10 years or more. They are truly beautiful when grown naturally. Actually my favorite. I know a giuy in Kentucky that has a large clump that is about 8 feet or more tall and as wide and it is beautiful.The pups can be potted up as individual sopecimens as well. They grow very slowly.
