To all with experience with this palm. My wife and I had a great time at the winter meeting in Savannah this past Saturday. I was looking for a Needle palm at the auction but there were not any to be had; so, I bought one from a nursery down the street. It is an old palm with many (pups) or suckers sprouting from the sides of the mother trunk which is quite large for a potted plant. I want to remove the pups to expose the main trunk only. I have done this successfully many times with cycads with no problems. Does anyone have experience with Needle palm sucker removal and plant survival that they would like to share? Would love to know about your experiences. Thanks Mike
