okay I just got back from trip to the florida keys and brought back some coconuts. I got 4 of them, but only 1 has water inside that I can hear and read that this is the one I should plant. The husk was starting to turn yellow on the tree, but they were cut off the tree by the tree service that cut down the mother tree. What I need to know to try to get this coconut to sprout is how long should I wait till I plant the coconut? When the husk turns all yellow, or when it ends up turning brown? Any help would be great, since this is my first time I have tried to germinate a coconut and I really want this to germinate if possible. any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks krissy
