Hi all,
I'm a fairly new member, joined about a year ago. My plants are small, generally one to two strap leaves, and my intention was to build inventory for a few years by growing plants from seed, and eventually start my own nursery. Due to the economy, and my recent job loss, I'm going to be bringing lots more plants at selling smaller sizes than I'd planned. Anyway, here's my list:
Brahea armata
Brahea sp. ‘Super Silver’
Citrus aurantium ‘Sour Orange’ – seed source was Teakettle Enterprises (Belize)
Citrus limettoides ‘Sweet Lime’ – seed source was Teakettle Enterprises (Belize)
Citrus sp. ‘Lalangha Lemonade Tree’ – from Mariannas islands, seedlings
Citrus sp. ‘Lemon Cocoracha’ – from Mariannas islands, seedlings
Citrus sp. ‘Lemon Canoon’ – from Mariannas islands, seedlings
Citrus sp. ‘Lemon Cheena’ – from Mariannas islands, seedlings
Phoenix theophrastii 'Datca' from Turkey
Sabal etonia
Sabal minor ‘McCurtain’ from SEPS seed bank and Amazing Gardens
Sabal minor var. ‘Louisiana’ – fast growing strain, seeds from Amazing Gardens (OK)
Sabal minor var. ‘Louisiana’ – hardy strain, parent took –3F with no damage from Amazing Gardens
Sabal uresana ‘Sonoran Palmetto’
Trachycarpus princeps
Washingtonia filifera
I may not bring all of these, but I’m planning to try – it may not all fit in the back of my truck! Anyway, this is what I have, folks. What are you guys bringing?
I’m thinking of just starting my own nursery, since jobs are so scarce. We’ll see how this goes!
