Thanks for the advice. I live in NW Alabama, (Haleyville.) I pulled the trees back up Monday. I made the holes about 3 times bigger. I also put a 6 inch bed of gravel down first and then more potting soil. I added a little sand and lime to the soil. I also got the fungal treatment for the roots. We will see if that helps.
