Bob, a long-time Southeastern Palm Society member successfully grew a Jubaea C. in her Charlotte courtyard and it has grown into a massive palm -- not overly tall but with huge fronds and, if I'm not mistaken, about 10 feet of overall health. Good luck. I just planted a much smaller one.
