The optimal palm fertilizers are 3-2-3 with micros. The micros are needed when there is an obvious problem of "frizzletop". We see this with Butias and Queens in FL.
It's obviousely cheaper to fertilize less times since less labor is required. I think an APR/JUL (2x) regimen would probably work OK. Not all plants need to be fertilized the same weeks, so you can look at your manpower and keep them buzy for about 8 weeks of the year.
