I posted the fertilizer that we use in Augusta that is slow released and has the minors that are needed for the palms and other plants on another thread from a couple of weeks ago. It's a 15-7-15 + 1.2Mg + Minors Controlled Release Fertilizer. This, mulch and water is what we use.
