May I introduce Kyle Wicomb, a real palm devotee. Kyle is originally from South Africa, and has been all over the world observing palm trees. He is now attending the University of Florida. He wishes to improve the palm flora around McCarty hall on the U. F. Campus. The area around McCarty hall is the best palm habitat on campus. You probably have seen the thread on the other board where he requested palms for the planting. I have volunteered to keep palms for him in transition at Forest Grove, where I have ground cloth and two wells w/ submersible pumps for automatic irrigation.
