The Southeastern Palm Society's spring meeting is on Saturday, April 19, and will be held in the Florida Panhandle at Wakulla Springs State Park, Just Fruits and Exotics Nursery, and several of Tallahassee's best nurseries. It will be a combination sightseeing/spring shopping trip. As always, both members and non-members are welcome to attend.
Last fall I visited all of the sites that will be included in the tour, and it made for a satisfying day.
We're still working on a write-up for the meeting agenda, but today I came across this New York Times travel article called On Florida's Gulf Coast, the South is Still the South and thought it was worth sharing.
