I live on the southeast side of Weiss Lake. There is Sabal Minor growing wild in my area just across the road in a low area behind my parents house. I have not seen any Needle palms though. I grow palms and citrus as a hobby. I started Spanish moss in my area several years ago and it has spread a lot. I have a 15'Sabal in my front yard. Each year I build a greenhouse over my full size citrus trees. We enjoy citrus most of the year.
