I think you answered your own question -- looks like lack of water is the problem. The difficulty will be getting it through the winter now that it's already under stress. My advice is to water it thoroughly twice a week, even if that means putting a bucket in the shower with you to catch water. Mulch it as heavily as possible to retain the moisture it has available. There is still enough growing season left for the palm to put out a leaf or two before winter sets in, and the palm will need some green leaves for photosynthesis even during the colder months.
