I live in what's left of Waveland, MS and have eight Sabals (about 20 yrs old) in the back yard. They have been fairly busy at cross-pollenating each other, and as a result, I have about twenty juveniles [five years old to first-year seedings] about the area. I had about four feet of Katrina salt water surge in my yard, but the adults or the seedlings didn't seem to be bothered. Since they were natural plantings, they are in the wrong places. When they were small, it was not a problem, now it's getting to be. Anywhere to look for 'relocation' information of existant young Sabals? I think I need to wait until spring, but I'd like to have too much information rather than not enough. Thanks in advance.
