Hey Chuck! This is not scientific, just personal observation. I live in Richmond County, most of which is on the coastal plain. The northern edge, however, crsses back and forth over the fall line. Our next county up, Columbia, is mostly in the piedmont. We have a fair amount of Spanish Moss in wet areas, river bottoms, etc. But nothing like coastal Georgia. I've seen it here, along the fall line, but never noticed any in Columbia County. I suspect though, that there is probably some in the woods and swamps along the Savannah River. Hope somebody, maybe Joe from Augusta, can answer your question better than I did. Einar
