This message was intended for Tom M. but I thought I'd post it to the Board generally. Where would I be able to get seeds or, better yet, growing specimens of Syagrus R. "Silver Queen" which is reputedly much hardier than normal S.R.? I've been so happy with my monster Queen that I'd hate to not have Syagrus on my property but sooner or later, my Queen will be too big to protect. This summer it's at 24 feet from tip of highest frond to base of palm. I am going to hire a crew of roofers to install the protection this winter since it's now beyond my capacity.
