Posted by Jeff S, Apison TN on August 5, 2007, 6:08 pm If you're like me, as I look at the photo, there are too many people I didn't get to meet, and too many that I could only visit with briefly. These meetings sure leave one wishing for more--and looking forward to the next one. Speaking of... If you couldn't make the summer meeting, the next get-together is Saturday, October 6, 2007, in Anniston, Alabama. So far, we know the day will include a plant sale, tours of the gardens of the Anniston Museum of Natural History and the adjacent Berman Museum of World History, the private garden of Hayes Jackson, and probably several other worthy optional stops. Can October really only be two months away?

Below is a link to a group portrait of most of the 130 or so attendees of the SPS summer meeting at Plant Delights in Raliegh, North Carolina. A big thank you to everyone who posed (and even smiled!) in the heat. An unforgettable day.
