I purchase 2 of the silver variety from a fellow in Californa about a year and a half ago. These were sold as 3 year old plants. No character leaves. I potted one and planted the other. The potted one has been growing steadily year-round and put out about 6 leaves, while the one planted has produce 1 leaf and is slowly working on a second. Both get about 3/4 day of full sun.
