A bare root washy will take longer to rejuvenate then one that that was potted. Have patience. It takes a lot to kill a palm. Just keep is water but not soggy and it will eventualy grow.

Sorry Randall for the late response. I don't check this board very often. When you first plant a robusta it will use the first two to three months to establish its roots so you may not see any new frond production. After that weather permitting it will start pushing out lots of fronds. Sometimes newly transplanted palms can be fussy so have patience. You do need to water the robusta but not down its crown shaft. Also, try not to over water it too much. Robustas are desert plants. Give it a little fertiler but not too much. the best thiing you can do for your palm right now is to keep the soil moist but not wet and wait.
