I first hybridized Tai X Revoluta back in the early ninties and to tell you the truth, it seems to be no faster than Revoluta, but does not go dormant in cold weather like Revoluta, pushing new leaves in Feb. like Taitungensis, so I guess it is a little faster. But the "hottest item" is my Taitungensis X Guizhouensis (F-1 Hybrid by Chumley 2003). It is fast like Taitungensis, cold and frost tolerent like Guizhouensis with a nice extra-bluish-green color. However, this year , 2007, I have crossed Revoluta with Guizhouensis and also, Taitungensis with Panzhihuensis and we have yet to see what they will do.
